While the internet is busy focusing on iPhone 14 launch happening at Apple’s Far Out event, Google announced something exciting for Android lovers. It may be Christmas for Apple users in September, but for Android fans, Christmas will come in October – specifically on October 6th. Why’s that, you might ask. Well, Google finally decided to launch its Pixel 7 lineup along with its first-ever wearable product – the Pixel Watch.

Made By Google Event 2022
Save the date, Android fans, as Google announced its plans on Twitter about its next event. Besides tweeting about the next Made By Google event, Google also sent out media invites for the event.
Earlier this year, Google teased the Pixel lineup at I/O 2022, besides launching the Google Pixel 6a – the new budget phone from Google. In May 2022, we got a tip from Google about three new products coming in the fall, including:
- Pixel 7
- Pixel 7 Pro
- Pixel Watch
So, we know what we’re going to get from Google at their October event. However, there are no additional details about the Pixel devices that will be released at this event. Google plans on sharing these details in a live broadcast from New York City, and we have our fingers crossed for what’s coming.
Everything We Know About Google’s October Event
Google plans to introduce the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel Watch, and Nest’s latest smart home devices on October 6, 2022, at 10 am EST. Every device introduced at the event will be available on Google Store to shop on the same day. You can also visit physical Google Stores if you’re in New York.
Besides Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel watch, the event invite also highlights Pixel Buds Pro. While these have been on the market for over a month, they are mentioned with reference to the Pixel Watch. This first-ever smartwatch designed and built by Google reimagines the WearOS experience and is compatible with all Pixel and Android phones. The Google Pixel Watch is also designed to work with Pixel Buds Pro and Pixel Buds A-Series wireless earbuds.
Where Can You Watch Made By Google Launch Event?
The #MadeByGoogle event is scheduled to take place in the Williamsburg neighborhood of NYC. The in-person event is not open to the general public and is limited to invited members of the press. However, anyone can tune in live at this link: GoogleStore.com/events. Users outside the US, Great Britain, and Australia can watch the live stream on Google’s YouTube channel.
